Sorry that this post is rather late. It feels like we've been pretty crazy busy over here lately. We're getting back into a regular schedule these days...so I'm finally sitting down and blogging.
Our Halloween was lots of fun. We spent the evening over at a friends house (Gavin calls it the puppies house b/c they have two dogs that he loves) & had a fabulous dinner & had some fun trick or treating. Gavin was an adorable little zebra. He loved his costume...I was so shocked. I thought I would be fighting him to put it on & keep it on for 2 minutes. Definitely not the case. It was more me fighting him to take the darn thing off. He looked cute though and I am glad that he enjoyed his costume.
Matt & I were to awesome people stuck in the 80's. We went to a thrift store that afternoon and threw our costumes together. It was fun getting dressed for Halloween. I couldn't stop laughing at him, he looked hilarious! He shaved his beard off & jut left that hilarious (yet somewhat questionable) mustache. That definitely got a few funny comments from our friends.
This was Gavin's first experience with trick or treating. We took him in our friends' neighborhood. He was doing good walking by himself and knocking on the doors, until this one house. A man came out with this seriously scary clown mask & I don't think Gavin knew what to do. After that house he would still walk to the houses, but once we got close to the doors he wanted me to pick him up. But he still would say "thank you" after receiving his candy. He was really cute and I think he had fun. So here are a few pictures from our fun Halloween night.

He did make a cute little zebra! We missed seeing you guys at the ward party! Matt's mustache is pretty funny! Hope to see you at play group sometime.
As Always Gavin is ABSOLUTLY ADORABLE!! Man that kid is just so cute! Your costume is great! It honestly looks like you just posted a picture straight out of the 80's. You guys are just too funny and such a cute family!
LOVE your costume, jules. that was the greatest thing I have set my eyes on EVERRRRRRRRRRR!!!! You go girl.
Oh Gavin, you are one very cute Zebra!! Of course, you would make a cute ANYthing. You could make an old rubber shoe look cute!!! It is so tempting to paste your cute little face all over the Relief Society bulletin board!!! We cannot wait for you to get here. Baby Seth is ready to play with you....sort of. Oh and those were quite the costumes that your Dad and Mom had on too. Not even as cute as yours though. Tell your Dad to lose the mustache or I will not let him in the house! UGH!
Julie, I love your costume...it's so weird that we used to wear that kind of stuff...and think we looked good! Gavin looked adorable :)
Love,
michelle
Hey Julie,
It's Matt Leonhardt. I found your blog through Andrea, who just happened to find ours. Anyway, I still have your book "Tuesday's with Morrie," and I feel bad that I was never able to get it back to you. If you still want it back, email me at mattandquela@hotmail.com and I can give you may address.
I was going to let you know that I found Matt and his family - but you already found him! Yea!
I love you!
By the way, to answer your question, I'm getting thicker but it doesn't really look like I'm prego yet.
