1. Did you date someone from your school? I did date some guys in good ol' high school...the first two years were fun...the last yr and a half kind of a bummer with the choice of boys (or rather boy).
2. What kind of car did you drive? I didn't have a car to call my own. i had great friends that drove me around. But if me and some friends were going out & I was designated to drive we took the fabulous mini van...although i did drive a little mazda for about a year. that was fun.
3. Were you a party animal? Nope. I had friends that did and friends that didn't. sometimes we went to the parties, but nothing crazy was done on my part.
4. Were you considered a flirt? I don't know. I would guess that I flirted with someone if I liked them. I don't think I ever tried to hide liking someone though. Not sure though...have to ask people I went to high school with.
5. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? I was in the lovely band for 2 yrs of h.s. (i think, maybe only 1...wow that's horrible that i can't remember). i played the flute...but band made me dislike playing the flute, so i stopped.
6. What was your most embarrassing moment of high school? wow. i can't even remember how many yrs i was in band. ummm...probably my asthma attacks. i guess. sorry, i'm really trying to think of something juicy, but it's not working.
7. Were you a nerd? No. i'm not smart enough to be a nerd. I think I was more on the jock side of things. but i married a nerd! HA! (just kidding, matt)
8. Were you on any varsity teams? Yep...i was on varsity track for all four yrs. i loved track!
9. Did you get suspended/expelled? ha! no. i was way to affraid or shy to get into that much trouble (at least at school, at home is different). ever since getting my name written on the board in kindergarten i pretty much played it safe.
10. Can you still sing the fight song? nope. i think i remember just chanting "Toppers, Toppers!" followed by some clapping over and over again. but i had quite a bit of team spirit back in those days. i was the one always dressing up with my teams/friends for Topper wk and whatever else came up. there was probably a "go, fight, win!" in there somewhere. i bet dre remembers it! :)
11. Who were your favorite teachers? i really enjoyed the teachers in my humanities class, although i have no idea what their names were...gail do you remember? and he wasn't my teacher, but Mr. Holfek (sp?) was always really nice and funny.
12. What was your school's full name? Los Alamos High School.
13. School mascot? The Hilltopper...don't ask, because truthfully I don't know. but someone once told me that it's a man that cuts off the tops of trees. not sure though, either way it was lame. our colors were green and gold. not much better.
14. Did you go to homecoming, and with who? i did. homecoming was always so much fun, actually i think i prefer homecoming wk to the actual dance. let's see if i can remember...9th it was Michael Whiteside; 10th it was Nez Romero; 11th was Ryan DeVore; 12th was, wow i can't remember & i don't have any pictures, but I'm going to guess it was Drew Schroeder.
15. If you could go back and do it again, would you? Nah. i don't think so. there are some moments that would be awesome if i could change them, but high school was rough. there was a lot of fun being had though too! and i do miss some of those friendships & being involved in sports, but life is good now...no need to go back.
16. What do you remember most about graduation? My family...my close friends that graduated with me & all of the pictures being taken afterwards & being really nervous that I was going to fall flat on my face while walking up to get my diploma.
17. Where did you go senior skip day? i don't remember...
18. Were you in a club? I was a natural helper and i was in key club. the trips that we went on for those clubs were awesome fun!
19. Have you gained some weight since then? nope. i think i'm basically the same. still look like i'm 15. :)
20. Who was your prom date? 10th it was Llon Clendenen; 11th & 12th it was Drew Schroeder. Dances really were so much fun sometimes! I actually enjoyed the whole day of festivities before the dances though probably more. hands down 10th grade prom was the greatest dance of my high school days. so fun!
21. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? Probably not. it would be pretty sweet to see what everyone is up to these days. but i'm not sure if i'm quite that curious. we'll see though.
22. Looking back, what advice would you give yourself? That high school doesn't matter so much...grades yes and those life long friends are wonderful, but I really wish that I didn't have boyfriends...just dates. just fun. oh and i would tell myself not to quit volleyball. :)
I tag...dre & michelle, it would be kind of fun to see your answers. and brittish lets see if we can get you back into the blogging world! and of course anyone else who has the time and wants to.

I loved reading that tag! I have been smiling/giggling the whole time. Ahhh, the memories. And yes, I do remember the fight song...heeheehee. You know me too well! Here it goes:
"Go Toppers, go! For the green and for the gold. On down the field, may our battle cries be bold!"
"Fight, fight to win. May our victory begin! Go Toppers, go and we'll win, win, win!"
Seeeee! Man, I'm a freak.
Oh yeah, and I loved driving to ABQ in your mini-van. Didn't we get there in record time? Oops...
Oh thanks Andrea! Cause I really couldn't remember either.
I can't believe I didn't think of Humanities! That was my favorite class of all time! I guess I was just having a brain fart. I remember one of the ladies' names was Mrs. Stewart. She was the ex-mormon one. And the other lady had an indian name because her husband was indian. Actually wasn't her name hyphenated? Did it start with a B?
