Where To Begin...

Okay, I have a serious amount of catching up to do...again. I just got home last night after being out of town for 5 wks! Well, sort of. I came home in between one of those trips for a couple of days & then was off again for a total of 4 straight wks. And it definitely feels good to be home. I loved sleeping in my own bed last night!

Let's see...I suppose that I will go in order of our adventures. So, we will begin in Utah. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a picture freak...so just to give you a heads up there may be a good amount of pictures (actually I can pretty much guarantee there will be loads of pictures in the next few entrees).

Alright, so on May 16th Matt, Gavin, & I headed up to Utah for a weekend literally packed full of all sorts of fun. We had to be sneaky though because Matt's wonderful parents had NO idea what was about to take place the next day. We happened to keep their surprise party a secret for nearly a year! There were a few close calls, but everything worked out perfectly! The day was finally here!!! It was a blast! And these two certainly deserved a big celebration! I had to hold back the tears watching Venita cry & seeing the expression on Bart's face! It was just so fun! I think that I will just let the pictures speak for themselves.

I think that those are the best "surprised" faces I have ever seen!

Here are a few (meaning a lot) more pictures of the party.

Well, I suppose that I will go ahead and post what I've done so far and then continue catching you up on this big celebration another day (tomorrow hopefully). Stay tuned...

Great post Julie and great pictures. I've been waiting. You got a much better shot of the "big entrance" scene when they got home from the temple. Yes I think we can say they were surprised. Amazing isn't it? Love you and will be checking each day. xoxoxoox

What fun Bug-a-boo! I have been wondering where you were. What a fun trip! It's obvious you and Matt have a wonderful family. Much love, I miss you.

P.S. I hope you won't be gone for another 5 weeks in July...hint, hint (watch for my email, hehehe).
