My favorite person is 27 today! I tend to refer to him as an old fart which then turns into this lengthy conversation about how I'm not far behind him, but ends with me reminding him that no matter what he says I am still younger then he is. Now 27 is by now means "old", but it is still so much fun to tease him & watch him get all defensive.
Matt is by far the most incredible person I've ever met. He is my best friend. He has so much drive to become great at everything he tries, which he does...he is just so talented...he (like the rest of his family) is one of those people that is great at everything they do. He might not agree, but he is his toughest critique. And this blog, if he happens to read it, will probably embarrass him like crazy!
I want to thank Venita & Bart (Matt's wonderful parents) for raising such a well mannered, funny, talented, smart, kind, romantic, HANDSOME man. He is much more than those few qualities that I've just listed, but anyone who knows him even in the slightest knows just how wonderful he is. And if you don't know my husband you are seriously missing out because he is a riot!

greeat Julie, you made me cry. He is all you say he is but only because he found and married you. Julie, you are everything and more than we could have ever hoped for in a daughter-in-law. We were truly blessed the second you walked into Matt's life and ours. We are so thankful for you and love you like our own. Both Matther and Gavin are two LUCKY boys to have YOU!!!!!

Ummm... yeah... this is Matt...yes, a little embarressing but I CAN'T say that I disagree.;) Although, she doesn't realize when we got married I got the better end of the deal. Words can't describe her or how much she means to me! Thanks Julie, I love you too.
