Matt was going to be celebrating his 27th birthday while we were down in UT celebrating his parents' birthdays. I decided to give him a very little celebration with just us 3 here at home the day before we were leaving. I made him a baseball cake since he's quite the fan and then I made him one of his favorite things, monkey bread! He loves that stuff. This was my first attempt at it, and I must say I'm pretty darn proud of myself. It was delicious! But that was only the beginning of his birthday celebrations (although he didn't know this). So here are a couple photos from his first "party".

MONkey bread??!! What? Did you make it in your new Bread Machine? And...just how long is Matt's birthday going to last?!! I thought for sure that I gave birth to him in the month of May. :) Well, we are already missing you 3. I thought for sure you would be back for the duck. Good thing you have an extra one. You ought to see the 2 new signing baby books I found. so cute. so so cute. You need to come back.
